What’s New in [iCAN update 4.8.8]?
1. [HAT] Universal Pixel: Streamlined Ad Tracking
Say hello to the [HAT] Universal Pixel! The new pixel combines impression and view-through tracking into a single pixel, with dynamic macro support across multiple DSPs (like The Trade Desk and Google‘s DV360.
Why it matters: It simplifies ad serving while delivering performance data. While existing [HAT] pixels will continue to work, it is strongly recommended to update all pixels and to only use the [HAT] Universal Pixel going forward.
2. Bigger, Better Storyboard Previews in Creative Studio
We’ve supersized the Storyboard Preview images in Creative Studio!
Now, when you preview your ads, you’ll get a crystal-clear view of how they’ll look, helping you fine-tune your creative with confidence before launch.
Side Note – Did you know that Creative Studio is built on top of the largest library of automotive B-Roll in the world? Not only that, Creative Studio is fully stocked with your favorite OEM-approved fonts and video templates, complete with AI voiceovers and background music for truly personalized video creative at scale.
3. Smarter Media Types in Media Studio
We’ve retired the “Video” media type and introduced ‘Streaming TV’ and ‘Online Video’ platform-wide. These new categories better reflect the campaigns you run, offering greater clarity and alignment with the actual channels vs the type of ad.
4. Advanced HAT Reporting Gets More Granular
For users of Advanced HAT Reporting, you can now segment campaign performance by Streaming TV vs. Online Video—no more lumping everything under “Video.” This upgrade gives you deeper insights to optimize your strategies with precision.
